Surfaces that last start below the surface
Most paving problems start under the stone, not in it. A patio or drive that sinks, rocks or holds water has usually been laid on ground that was not prepared properly. We dig out, build up the base and set the levels so water runs where it should before any stone goes down.
Because we build walls, steps and gardens as well, we think about how a surface meets everything around it: the edge of a lawn, the foot of a wall, the threshold of a door. The result looks like part of the garden rather than something added to it.

We work in natural stone and in gravel, and we will talk you through which suits your house, your budget and the way you use the space.
